SAHABAT PPUKM

SAHABAT-PPUKM is a voluntary body set up in 1998. It was an idea mooted by the then Hospital UKM Director, Datuk Dr Khalid Abdul Kadir, after he met an English lady who volunteered to look after children cancer patients in the hospital. The main purpose of the body is to mobilise individuals or groups as volunteers for patient care and other patient assistance programme at the hospital. The SAHABAT-PPUKM Fund provides financial assistance to needy patients who are unable to pay for their medical bills.


SAHABAT PPUKM welcomes any financial donation for the needy patients in UKMMC. Parties who are interested can contact Unit Khidmat Pelanggan UKMMC on

1) On every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, SAHABAT PPUKM will hold a re-sale items shop UKMMC.

2) SAHABAT PPUKM also welcomes paper bags donation for the usage of the sales; please do bring along for donation during Charity Run or can donate directly to the shop in UKMMC.
